Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies and similar browser storage used by the ESSOPA website, and how you can change your choices at any time.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files, and similar technologies such as browser storage, that a website can save on your device. They can remember your choices, keep a site working properly, or help a site owner understand how the site is used.
Why we use them
We keep this to a minimum. We use browser storage to remember your cookie preferences and to keep the website working securely. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
Strictly necessary
These are always active because the website cannot work properly without them. They include the storage that remembers your cookie choice and anything our hosting provider needs for security and delivery of the site.
Analytics
Optional. No analytics tool is currently installed on this website. If ESSOPA adds one in future, it will only run where you have given analytics consent, and this page will be updated with the cookies it sets.
Functional
Optional. Reserved for optional features that need to store something in your browser. None are currently in use.
Marketing
We do not use marketing or advertising tracking technologies on this website, so no marketing category is offered.
Third-party services
Some parts of the website link out to services that operate their own cookies and policies once you visit them: ClassManager for registration, our uniform shop supplier, Facebook and WhatsApp for messaging, and Google Fonts, which serves the fonts used on this site. Show 2027 form submissions are stored securely in Google Sheets within ESSOPA’s own account. These services set cookies on their own sites, not here.
Cookies used on this site
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| essopa-cookie-consent | ESSOPA (this website) | Stores your cookie choices so you are not asked on every visit. | Strictly necessary | Stored in your browser until you clear it or change your choice |
Our hosting provider may also set strictly necessary cookies for security and delivery. We have not listed names or durations for these because they have not been confirmed — this is flagged for administrator review rather than guessed.
Managing your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time using the button below, or the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page. You can also delete cookies and browser storage through your browser settings.
